Future Enhancements
We plan on implementing future technology that this system can directly integrate into the existing architecture,
upon market demand. Extra technologies that are possible with this system include:
Auto-object tracking and velocity tracking (Pucks, Balls, etc)
Player masking to draw graphics on the surface of the ice, such as Advertising (that can change or animate!)
Individual player tracking, overlaying team number, stats above the player just like in a video game!
Tracking to allow individual cameras to follow different players automatically, for use in broadcast feeds.
Other Purposes
The system has alternate uses that can make it very useful in all indoor arena applications. The system can be
used to feed in-house television displays for concerts, sporting events, exhibitions and more. Best of all, the system
is not limited to 3D display usage, individual cameras can be broken out from the system and used as regular,
computer controlled cameras operated by a single camera operator. This use of the product could enhance items
outlined in the future enhancements section.
