What is a 360 Replay?
Simply put, a 360 replay allows you to see the action from all sides.
This isn't some kind of new television, or something that your viewers need to do,
it's simply a way for you to construct 3D sports replays picking the best camera view.
You can even 'stitch' together several cameras and create spinning, near-3D effects,
stopping, reversing or altering the playback speed.
How is This Different From Current Systems?
First of all, there are a lot more cameras. All robotic cameras record in unison and
are controlled by a single operator, and all cameras are pointing at the same spot.
Then things get really cool. Didn't see how a check got missed? Not
sure how that d-man broke out of the zone? Was that really a goal? Just
spin around the play from any angle and review. Move to a certain point in
time, then 'scrub' the view, much like editors have traditionally scrubbed time.
What is the Output?
Final rendered video, prepped and complete in seconds, is passed through a DV-Y/C
encoder and processed for output to most common formats including composite, Y/C
and SDI. This can be patched into a house feed for broadcasters, your in-house
production, or anyone who is leasing the facility.
This Sounds Cool, But Can I See it Work?
Sure, just click the watch demo button below. If you don't have an account you can request
one; approval usually takes less than one business day.
